Italian luxury fashion house Aquazzura has taken a graceful step into the world of hospitality, partnering with the iconic Hotel de Russie, a Rocco Forte Hotel, to unveil the first-ever Aquazzura Bar. This enchanting addition celebrates not only Aquazzura’s distinctive aesthetic but also the 25th anniversary of the legendary Roman hotel.

Tucked away within the hotel's secret Valadier Garden, the Aquazzura Bar invites guests into a flourishing oasis where refined beauty unfolds at every turn. Invisible from the bustling streets of Rome, the hidden courtyard evokes a dreamlike ambience — a true celebration of La Dolce Vita.

Drawing inspiration from the Aquazzura Casa Secret Garden tableware collection, the design of the bar mirrors the romantic charm of 18th-century botanical illustrations. Birds, butterflies, and verdant greenery dance across the space in lush, vivid tones. Dual-patterned custom awnings, with Aquazzura’s signature black and white stripes on the exterior and whimsical Secret Garden motifs within, create a dynamic visual interplay, ensuring every glance reveals a new detail.

Hand-painted Portuguese tiles featuring delicate lemon motifs adorn the bar, paying homage to Italy’s sun-kissed citrus groves. The area is elegantly furnished with tufted chairs, metal outdoor tables, and cozy sofas, designed by the celebrated Casa do Passadiço studio. Lemon trees in striped planters and green trelliswork complete the scene, seamlessly blending with the historic gardens that rise behind the space.

The culinary experience, curated by Chef Fulvio Pierangelini, Creative Food Director of Rocco Forte Hotels, elevates the offering with a refined selection of tapas, each dish presented on exquisite pieces from the Aquazzura Casa porcelain collection. Every detail, from the table settings to the service, has been meticulously curated to enhance the bar's magical atmosphere.
