Horror fans, brace yourselves. Death has a new beginning, and it’s more twisted than ever. New Line Cinema’s Final Destination: Bloodlines — the highly anticipated next chapter in the iconic horror franchise — is set to terrify regional audiences starting 15 May 2025. But for the brave and the bold, a special one-day-only sneak preview will take place on 9 May, giving die-hard fans an exclusive chance to witness the carnage before anyone else.
Directed by Adam Stein & Zach Lipovsky, Final Destination: Bloodlines dives deeper into the chilling mythos of the series, peeling back the curtain on Death’s sinister design. This gripping origin story introduces a terrifying new layer to the franchise, raising the stakes for those who thought they understood the rules of fate.
At the heart of the film is college student Stefani, played by Kaitlyn Santa Juana, who is tormented by a violent recurring nightmare. Haunted and desperate, she returns home in search of the one person who may hold the key to breaking the cycle and saving her family — before they fall victim to the gruesome fate that Death has planned.
Joining Santa Juana is a strong ensemble cast including Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and series veteran Tony Todd, whose presence signals a dark return to familiar themes and faces.
The screenplay, written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, is based on a story by Jon Watts, Busick, and Taylor, and promises to expand the franchise’s terrifying universe in bold, blood-curdling ways. Produced by Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle, and Toby Emmerich, the film is crafted by a team of seasoned horror veterans determined to deliver a nail-biting cinematic experience.
From Christian Sebaldt’s atmospheric cinematography to Tim Wynn’s nerve-shredding score, Final Destination: Bloodlines is designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats — and remind them that Death doesn’t forget, and it certainly doesn’t forgive.
Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to the franchise, the upcoming release promises a gruesome, gripping ride into the origins of a horror legacy that has terrified audiences for over two decades.
Mark your calendars: Preview screenings take place only on 9 May, with the full regional release following on 15 May. Fate is calling — will you answer?
