Looking for a new and exciting haunt for a precious date night or an evening out with your friends? Bushman’s is the restaurant to go to. Set along the Palm’s East Crescent at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, the restaurant combines its lush rustic interior perfectly with its al fresco ‘surf shack’ area overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The uninterrupted views stretching towards the Dubai skyline alone make the journey worthwhile.
Upon entering the eatery, the décor immediately captivates with a well-thought-out interior. Dark leather chairs, wood panelling, and brick accents add depth and character. The walls are adorned with unique art pieces, while the bar features interesting currency displays. Cork-lined ceilings and creatively designed lamps contribute to a visually engaging yet tasteful setting.

The menu at Bushman’s takes diners on a culinary journey across continents, offering an impressive selection of premium cuts that are sure to delight steak enthusiasts. Guests can choose from the prized Japanese Hokkaido Wagyu A5 Sirloin, richly marbled Australian Wagyu, heritage Argentinian breeds, and distinctive cuts from New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. Each cut, including tenderloin, ribeye, striploin, and tomahawk, is expertly grilled to individual preference, showcasing a hand-selected collection of the finest beef from around the world.
What truly sets Bushman’s apart, though, is its in-house dry ager. where select cuts mature for 30 days in a climate-controlled cabinet. This natural process softens the fibres, concentrates flavour, and results in tender, flavour-packed steaks with rich umami notes and that irresistible nutty depth only dry ageing can create.
A tableside preparation of steak tartare is an ideal start to the evening of indulgence, while a seasonal plate of heirloom tomatoes with compressed persimmon offers a a lighter alternative. For a more generous appetite, the 1.2 kg 300-day grain-fed USA Black Angus Onyx Tomahawk is presented whole, accompanied by a tasting of sauces and two classic sides.
To conclude, the deconstructed Pavlova is prepared in front of guests, its meringue delicately balanced with cream and fresh fruit to provide a sinful ending to an elegant evening. This sharing platter concept was certainly the climax of a delightful evening as the chef crafted a visual and culinary masterpiece tableside. What more could one ask for?
