A$AP Rocky and PUMA are turning heads once again with the release of their latest collaboration: the Inhale OG ‘Distressed Pack.’ This fresh take on the classic running shoe, first introduced in 2000, breathes new life into the vintage silhouette with an expertly crafted worn-in aesthetic.

Originally reissued by the duo last May as part of their Formula 1 partnership, the Inhale OG now returns in a new guise that maintains the aerodynamic shape beloved by sneaker enthusiasts. This version introduces a hyperrealistic patina that amplifies its vintage allure. The uppers are constructed from a seemingly undyed khaki twill material, designed to replicate a genuinely worn and torn look.

One of the standout features of this release is the shift from the bold red arch bandage of earlier models to a more subdued beige upper, showcasing a spectrum of tones. The yellowed soles and black skid marks contribute to an authentically aged appearance, while an embroidered red “Flacko” logo on the tongue pays homage to Rocky’s alter ego.

This latest iteration of the Inhale OG aligns seamlessly with Rocky’s recent AWGE Paris Fashion Week runway show, “American Sabotage.” The show highlighted his affinity for worn-in, disheveled aesthetics, making the distressed Inhale OG a perfect fit.

It’s been a considerable wait since Rocky’s last Puma sneaker drop, but the A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale ‘Distressed Pack’ has finally arrived. Departing from the pristine and polished look of his previous release, this collection offers a deep dive into a timeworn style that looks as if it’s been pulled straight from the archives.

The Inhale OG, known for its breathable mesh construction, is reimagined here with ripped canvas and pre-worn suede, staying true to the distressed theme. The legendary Formstrip marque appears on the sidewalls in worn leather, while the midsoles are crafted with CMEVA foam, ensuring superior comfort. The collection is completed with exclusive “FLACKO” logos on the tongues and comes in limited edition shoeboxes.

The A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale ‘Distressed Pack’ is set to drop on September 26 at Puma stores and select retailers globally, priced at £100 each.
