On November 29, 2024, Formula 1 enthusiasts and fans of Ayrton Senna will be treated to a deeply personal portrayal of the racing legend with the premiere of Senna. This Netflix series promises to capture the brilliance and complexity of his life. Alongside this highly anticipated six-episode series, Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer, in collaboration with the Senna Brand, launches the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna. This masterpiece honors Senna's illustrious career and celebrates the 30th anniversary of his legacy.

Ayrton Senna, revered as one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers in history, continues to embody the essence of excellence and precision thirty years after his passing. The Brazilian driver’s tenacity, unparalleled skill, and determination to push beyond the limits made him a global icon in the world of motorsport.

The new Netflix series Senna brings his life and legacy to the screen, offering an intimate look at his rise from his early racing days in Brazil to becoming a three-time Formula 1 World Champion. Directed with the full support of the Senna family, the series stars Gabriel Leone, a TAG Heuer ambassador, in the role of the legendary driver. Senna delves into Ayrton’s greatest moments on the track, his personal relationships, and the tragic accident at the San Marino Grand Prix that cut his life short.

In a fitting homage, the series also showcases key pieces of Senna’s signature style, including the TAG Heuer Senna S/EL Link Chronograph S25.706C, ensuring historical accuracy while highlighting his timeless influence on both racing and fashion.

The relationship between TAG Heuer and Ayrton Senna began in 1988, during the prime of his Formula 1 career. Known for redefining the meaning of "drive," Senna became a TAG Heuer ambassador at a time when he was dominating the Formula 1 circuits, securing World Championship titles in 1988, 1989, and 1991. This long-standing partnership paved the way for TAG Heuer to create several tributes to the Brazilian legend, including two chronograph tourbillons within the Carrera collection in 2018 and 2019.
