Aston Martin’s association with the legendary British Racing Green dates back to 1922 when the marque’s drivers raced under the emblem of this distinctive hue. Over the years, the brand has expanded its signature green into nine bespoke shades available through its core colour palette, and through the bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin, the options for customization are virtually limitless. This iconic shade now takes center stage in the design of the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition, where Girard-Perregaux has reimagined an iridescent green dial inspired by the British marque’s rich heritage. The process of creating this dial is an intricate one, requiring 14 precise manufacturing steps to achieve its unique shimmer and depth.

Beyond its striking aesthetic, the new Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition integrates materials familiar to Aston Martin’s hypercar engineering. Grade five titanium, which was used in the production of Aston Martin’s Valkyrie hypercar, has been chosen for the case and bracelet, ensuring the watch is lightweight yet exceptionally durable. This material, combined with Girard-Perregaux’s hallmark brushed and polished surfaces, delivers a captivating contrast, adding to the allure and performance of the timepiece.
