Presented by the Design Council Abu Dhabi (DCAD) in collaboration with Italian porcelain house Ginori 1735, and produced by Gushcloud International, this second residency cycle positions the capital as a meeting point between tradition and innovation. According to Chrissie, it’s all about contrast and harmony. “Stick to a cohesive colour palette, but mix up your textures—pair smooth porcelain with ribbed glass, or combine metallic accents with linen napkins. Let one or two elements stand out while everything else complements the story.” Lighting is another tool not to be underestimated. “A mix of tall and low candles adds atmosphere and movement.
